We exist to witness God's love
so that all can share in His joy.
The issue of sexual abuse is devastating and we as the Catholic Church can no longer remain silent. There has been much discussion at churches throughout New Jersey and in the media; and The priests of our parish spoke from the heart about these actions at mass recently. However the conversation is not over.
Please attend to share your thoughts, feelings and hopes with several priests in a safe environment.
Fr. Ray, our weekend associate has written down his thoughts and would like to share them with you HERE.
On Monday, August 20th, Pope Francis responded to the reports of clerical sexual abuse and the ecclesial cover-up of abuse. In a letter addressed to the whole People of God, he calls on the Church to be close to victims in solidarity, and to join in acts of prayer and fasting in penance for such "atrocities".
