  • Knights of Columbus LV
Who are the Knights of Columbus?

    • Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

There are five main aspects to being a Knight:

      • Faith... As Knights, our faith is our foundation. Dedicated to the Catholic Church’s growth and good works, we support religious outreach, promote vocations, and provide financial support for seminarians and postulates.
      • Community... We are committed to actively and financially supporting our local communities.  For example, we assist the local food bank throughout the year.
      • Family... As fathers and husbands, serving our families is not only part of what we do, it’s part of who we are.  To that end, Knights of Columbus offer programs that strengthen family and marital bonds by holding numerous family-focused events.
      • Youth... The importance of helping today’s youth become tomorrow’s leaders is a huge focus of the Knights.
      • Fellowship... To be a Knight means to believe in each other as we believe in ourselves.

The Long Valley Council meets every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. To find out more information please visit our web site http://www.lvkofc.org/.

      33rd ANNUAL COMMUNITY AUCTION, December 7, 2024
THANK YOU ALL  who participated in our 33rd annual community auction and helped make it a wonderful success. Our financial goals were surpassed and all proceeds will be used to fund our charitable programs and to benefit the needy. Those programs and benefits include scholarships for our youth, Coats for Kids, Pregnancy Care Centers, Seminarian Support, Boy Scout/Girl Scout recognition, Bishop’s appeal, food pantries, donations to Catholic Charities, and more. Among the enticing items donated for this year’s auction were a golf foursome at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster, NJ, ranked as one of the best golf clubs in the United States; a gift certificate to Griffin & Howe, at Hudson Farms, one of the nation’s most premier Outdoor Sporting Academies and two nights for a couple at the luxurious Ocean Resort & Casino, a world class beach / boardwalk hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. What a superb way to begin this blessed season of Advent. Special thanks to Rick Wagner for organizing and directing this extraordinary KofC effort.

Our Vision: We exist to witness God's love so that all can share in His joy.
